How we handle your data

The plain-English version of our privacy policy. Eight points, and a link to the full text if you want it.

1You press send, and it goes to two places

Your form submission lands in the form dashboard of Netlify, the company that hosts this site, and a copy is emailed to info@ebesonline.org. That is the whole journey. It does not pass through a CRM, a marketing tool, or anyone else’s system on the way.

2Both co-founders read it

Wasma Imran and Aytaj Ismayilzada, the two co-founders. There is no wider team, no assistant, no outsourced inbox. They read what you wrote and reply to you themselves.

3We only ask for what we need to answer you

Your name, your email, your message, roughly where you are in the process, and which part of Europe you are thinking about. Five things. Nothing about your finances, your documents or your family, unless you choose to tell us in the message.

4You will never be added to a list

There is no mailing list. There is no newsletter. There is no automated follow-up sequence. If you write to us once and never write again, you will hear from us once and never again.

5Your details are not passed to universities, or to anyone else

We take no commission and no sponsored placements from any university. Students are our only clients, so there is nobody we would have a reason to hand your name to, and we don’t. We have never sold personal data and we never will. The only other party that touches your submission is Netlify, which stores and forwards it on our behalf.

6The site itself watches nothing

No cookies. No analytics. No tracking pixels. No advertising. No account to create. The one outside request the page makes is to Google Fonts, which means Google sees your IP address when the typefaces load. We say so on the cookie settings page, along with how to block it.

7Ask us to delete it and we will

Email info@ebesonline.org and say “please delete my data”. You do not need to explain why. We remove your submission from the Netlify dashboard and from the inbox, and we email you to confirm it is done. Otherwise we keep it for 24 months after our last exchange, because application cycles are long and people often come back.

8You have more rights than just deletion

You can ask for a copy of everything we hold, ask us to correct it, ask for it in a portable file, or object to us keeping it. Same address, same 30-day maximum, no charge. And if you think we have got this wrong, you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (info@aki.ee), though we would appreciate the chance to fix it first.

Want the full detail? The complete privacy policy sets out the lawful bases, the international transfers, the retention periods and your rights in full. It is longer, but it is not written to be hard to read.
